Kerem is very excited. He raises his hand. "Yes, Sibel Teacher! I love Republic Day. It is beautiful!"

Elif does the maths in her notebook. "Fifty plus thirty... that is eighty (80) flags! But we need twenty more flags to reach one hundred."
"Don't worry," Leo says. "We can make twenty more flags."

The students start to draw and cut red and white paper. But Kerem is very quiet. He sits at his seat and puts his head on his desk. He is not coloring any flags.
Sibel Teacher walks to his desk. "Kerem, are you okay?" she asks gently.
Kerem whispers, "I don't feel all right, Sibel Teacher. My head hurts and I feel cold."
Sibel Teacher touches his forehead. "You have a little temperature, Kerem. Please rest here. Leo, can you bring him some water?"
"Of course, teacher," Leo says. He brings a glass of water and gives it to Kerem. "Get well soon, my friend."

Kerem drinks his water and feels a little better now. He smiles at his friends. "Thank you, guys. You are true friends. Let's hang them on the windows together!"

Leo looks at the clock. "It is half past eleven, teacher."
"Great job, class!" Sibel Teacher says proudly. "You worked together and showed great friendship. Happy Republic Day to everyone!"
