It is Monday morning. Sibel Teacher is showing a big, colorful map of a neighborhood on the smartboard.
"Good morning, class!" Sibel Teacher says. "Today, we are starting Theme 5: Life in the Neighbourhood and City. We will learn how to find our way and describe places."
Kerem raises his hand. "Teacher, last weekend Leo and I had a big adventure in our neighborhood. We found a lost puppy!"
Sibel Teacher smiles. "That sounds like a beautiful story, Kerem. Please share it with us!"

On Saturday afternoon, Kerem and Leo are playing football in the neighborhood park. Suddenly, they hear a small sound behind a big tree.
"Woof, woof!"
A small, brown puppy runs out from behind the tree. It looks scared.
Leo walks to the puppy quietly. He sees a small red collar around its neck. There is a little note on the collar.
Leo reads the note. "It says: My name is Max. I live next to the bakery. Please help me."
Kerem looks at Leo. "Excuse me, where is the bakery?" Kerem asks with a smile. "Let's find it and help Max!"

A young girl is standing in front of the bakery. She is crying.
"Max! Where are you?" she calls out.
The puppy jumps out of Leo's arms and runs to the girl. "Woof, woof!"

In the classroom, Sibel Teacher claps her hands. "What a wonderful story, Kerem! You were very helpful and kind to Max and his owner. This is a great example of being a good neighbor."
Kerem and Leo smile. They are proud to be helpful friends in their neighborhood.
